FFCM Dog Show

Take part in the FFCM Dog Show 2024!

Date: Saturday 15th June, 2024

Time: Registration from 11:00am
Location: Foots Cray Information Centre, just off Rectory Lane, DA14 5BP

 

There will be 10 different classes your could enter your furry best friend into:

1. Cutest pup (12 weeks - 1 year old)

2. Prettiest young lady (girls 1 - 6 years old)

3. Most handsome dog (boys 1- 6 yars old)

4. Waggiest tail

5. Best junior handler (under 16s that train their dog)

6. Prettiest senior lady (girls 7 onwards)

7. Most handsome senior dog (boys 7 onwards)

8. Best trick

9. Fancy dress (dogs and owners)

10. Odd couple (do you and your dog look "odd" together?)

The fee for each class is £2.00 or £1.00 for FFCM members - there's a limit of 18 dogs per class, so be sure to register early!

Our judge will be Katy Renny, dog training instructor and behavioural trainer, and rosettes will be awarded and prizes donated by Albany Pet Shop.

Terms and Conditions

By registering for the Fun Dog Show you agree to abide by these terms and conditions of entry. You also agree to abide by any instructions or regulations displayed or given on the day of the event by officials.

1. All dogs are entered at owners own risk.

2. Please – no female dogs in season!

3. All dogs to be under strict control and kept on leads at all times, unless specifically instructed to do otherwise, in order to take part in the events/classes by FFCM staff/judges.

4. The organisers reserve the right to ask owners to remove their dog(s) from the event if they are being aggressive towards another dog/human or are being disruptive to the competition, or showing signs of stress, anxiety, fear, illness or injury.

5. By taking part in the Fun Dog Show, participants are agreeing to both themselves and their dog being photographed/videoed and for those photos/videos to be used without payment for publicity and other fund-raising projects of FFCM

6. The decisions of the judges are final and cannot be challenged.

7. This is a family fun show - abuse to any animal will not be tolerated.

8. This is a ‘Fun’ dog show… please enter in that spirit.

Dogs die in hot cars. PLEASE DO NOT leave your dog in the car!

 

ALL DOG OWNERS/HANDLERS MUST CLEAN UP AFTER THEIR DOG FOR THE SAFETY AND WELL BEING OF EVERYONE ATTENDING THE EVENT.

Class information

 

1. Registration is required, on the day. The Registration desk will open at 11.00.

2. Entry is £1 per class for FFCM Members and £2 for Non-members. Payment must be made at registration by card or cash (no cheques).

3. Participants may enter more than one class.

4. Rosettes will be awarded from 1st to 3rd place in each class.

5. Class numbers will be limited to a maximum of 18, entries will be made on a first come first served basis.

6. If necessary, the number of entries in any class may be split, restricted (see point 5) or amalgamated at short notice.

7. It is the responsibility of the entrant to ensure they arrive at least 5 minutes before the start of their class, so that entrants can be checked off before the class starts.

8. If a participant is late for their class, the organisers will do their best to slot the entrant into another class, however this is not guaranteed.

9. Children under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult.

10. Puppy class is open to puppies aged between 12weeks and 12 months old.

11. Young dog classes are open to dogs from 1 year to 6 years of age.

12. Senior/veteran dog classes are open to dogs 7 years and over.

You are fully liable for your animal should they cause any damage or injury. Any dog showing aggressive behaviour at the show will be asked to leave with no refund given.
